Founded in 1883, the Dayton Bar Association has proudly served the greater Dayton community for more than 120 years.
With offices conveniently located in Performance Place, adjacent to the Schuster Performing Arts Center at the corner of Second and Main Streets in downtown Dayton, the Dayton Bar Association not only provides services to 1500 members of the legal community, the DBA also provides information and a host of public services to benefit the community at large.

Grievance and Fee Arbitration
The Supreme Court has authorized the Dayton Bar Association to receive and process all Grievance and Fee Dispute claims in Montgomery County. For claims against Judges in any county in Ohio, please contact the Supreme Court of Ohio at 614.387.9370.

Notary Public
You can obtain or renew your Notary Public Commission through the Notary Office at the Dayton Bar Association.
Greater Dayton Volunteer Lawyers Project
In 1988, members of the Dayton Bar Association were instrumental in helping to establish the Volunteer Lawyers Project (VLP) which provides attorneys to low income individuals in the Montgomery County area of Ohio. The VLP is co-located with the DBA in the Performance Place office condominiums.
