Once commissioned, attorneys are Notaries Public for life - as long as they remain in good standing with the Supreme Court.
DBA Members
To become a Notary Public, a fee of $35.00 is due upon registration. MasterCard, Visa, cash in the exact amount and checks made payable to the Dayton Bar Association are accepted. You do not need to appear in person at the DBA office. You may have the attorney application mailed to you. You must have your attorney registration number.
NonMembers
To become a Notary Public, a fee of $50.00 is due upon registration. MasterCard, Visa, cash in the exact amount and checks made payable to the Dayton Bar Association are accepted. Attorneys do not have to take the Notary Public Exam and will receive the Notary Guidebook when sworn in. |
